The Vision

Hāna Supper Club is a unique dining experience bringing together friends, neighbors and inquisitive travelers alike. We rove to exclusive locales on Maui’s magical east coast to enjoy delicious meals prepared by Hāna’s most talented chefs. We use the freshest local ingredients possible from Hāna’s own farmers, fisherman and ranchers.

At the supper table we gather side by side, passionate for food, hungry for adventure and thirsty for knowledge.

Andrea Rodriguez

Having worked in every front of the house position from Hostess to Food and Beverage Manager, I craved to take my talents and knowledge out of the traditional dining room setting. The thing I am most passionate about is creating beautiful things for others to enjoy. I live by the motto to “Make Life Beautiful. One way of doing that is through enjoying a fantastic meal, sipping on a lovely libation, sitting at a beautiful set table and engaging in interesting conversations. By combining my love of entertaining, event design and making guests euphoric by filling their bellies with delectable delights, Hāna Supper Club was created.

When I am not creating beautiful events, I make my home with my talented fiancé, Kevin, our cat Mongo and silly dog, Charlie in a beautiful cottage overlooking the Hāna coast where we eat well, drink, dance, laugh and love!

About Chef Anna

This Month’s Chef – Anna Lieding

Chef Anna is a force to be reckoned with, always pursuing her goals with determined vigor. She is a Hāna girl, born and raised in upper Nahiku and after graduating from Hana school in 2003 as valedictorian she studied at Brown University earning a degree in marine biology. In 2006, shortly after graduation and traveling she moved back home in 2007 and worked on one of the boats for pacific whale foundation. She soon became Captain Anna Lieding of a 65 ft catamaran.

Anna not only is an amazing fisher woman, she also free dives catching octopus and lobster for friends and family.  As she was always in the kitchen cooking up a storm even if it was for just herself, she followed her passion for cooking and enrolled herself in to Maui Community College culinary program and aced it as I knew she would. Her passion for the ocean, gardening, and cooking brings an aroma and flavors to the table like no other.

Fun fact: Chef Anna’s first job was working in the office at Hana Arts during high school.

This Month’s Host – Hāna Arts

Hāna Arts provides Art & Cultural education and both life-enhancing and income-generating opportunities for all East Maui keiki to kupuna through youth, individual and family programs including classroom teaching, workshops and events that help stimulate and broaden our community’s potential. It is a community-based organization that provides art and cultural education, exposure and opportunities to all Hana Coast residents, youth and adults alike. Believing that the Arts have a profound and long lasting impact on people’s lives.

Hana Arts began providing visual art and crafts classes for Hana children in 1991. We built on this, expanding our programs under the umbrella of the Hana Youth Center, and then Hana Cultural Center. By the time we incorporated in 1998, we were offering classes in dance, Hawaiian and world cultures, theatre, visual arts and music to both children and adults. Hana Arts is the prevalent facilitator of Art activity in Hana/East Maui. We collaborate with many local agencies that serve our youth and their families, as well as local schools, universities and other larger art agencies within the Hawaiian islands and beyond.
